Lady Tawanna Rose is a native of South Carolina; and the 4th and youngest daughter of the late Mother Marie Martin Brown and the late Archie Martin. Lady Rose is the wife of Pastor Gerald W. Rose and mother of Isa W. Rose.
Lady Rose is an exceptionally talented individual who impacts the lives of those she meets. Lady Rose has been a faithful member of Word of Truth since its inception. She was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ at the early age of 10 and many years later she received the gift of the Holy Ghost.
She received her early education in the Florence County School System; and continued her education at Francis Marion University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. She is employed with Caliber Home Loans as a Renovation Project Analyst. Her background in Business Finance has afforded her the opportunity to assist her church and others in many different capacities.
As first Lady of Word of Truth, Sister Tawanna wears many hats. She serves as Church Secretary, Pastoral & Church Planning Committee member, welcoming committee member, Media Administrator, Women’s Council President, Trustee Assistant, Kitchen Committee Assistant, choir member, usher board staff member and musician. Lady Rose is also an Educational Therapist with the National Institute of Learning Development. In addition to her many responsibilities, Lady Rose is often found cleaning the house of God. She feels that it is a very humbling experience.
In her leisure time, Lady Rose likes to cook, attend her son’s extracurricular activities, and spend time with her family. She is a solid supporter of her husband, Gerald Rose; and son, Isa Rose.
