Elder Gerald Rose is the eldest son of Elder Jerry and Sis. LaSandra Rose. He is the husband of Lady Tawanna Rose and father of Isa W. Rose. He is a native of Richmond, Virginia. On June 15, 1992 he experienced a rebirth and received the gift of the Holy Ghost under the leadership of Bishop Roosevelt Fulton (Evangelistic Temple Way of the Cross Church). Since that day he has worked diligently to serve God and to win souls for Christ.
In 1996, Elder Rose heard the initial call to preach the gospel, but later accepted his calling after maturity and development as a young man took full proof of his ministry. In 2007, he was ordained as an Elder in the Pentecostal United Churches of Christ of the Apostolic Faith in Florence, SC, where he served as Youth Pastor and local Youth President under the tutelage of Bishop Fred Graham.
He attended the public schools of Lake City, South Carolina and continued his educational studies at Florence Darlington Technical School.
In 2008, Elder Rose was called to start a work for the Lord. Through much prayer and fasting he received the calling and now pastors Word of Truth Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. in Florence.
In addition to being a devoted husband, father, and Pastor he is an employee of McLeod Regional Medical Center, where he works as a Surgical Support Technician. He also serves as a faithful member on the Board of Presbyters of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. In 2012, Pastor Rose was appointed as Diocese Evangelist for the South Carolina Palmetto Diocese for the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Over the years, Elder Gerald Rose has inspired people of many walks of life and his dedication to lead and empower continues to grow throughout his ministry.
